DIECAST DIEHARDS

Although the prizes on offer are serious, the intent of this competition is meant to be lighthearted and a bit of fun, while also helping to further promote sub-culture of diecast enthusiasts modifying their scaled replicas and further inspire creativity.

Voting is via audience participation using a third party system platform. All decisions are final and no further correspondence shall be entered into.

INDEMNITY

All participants, not limited to entrants and voters, hereby agree to indemnify Diecast Diehards, Celebration Production, Repco Woolloongabba and each of their proprietors and staff against all possible scenarios in relation to participating in and/or having the results published for this competition. directly or otherwise.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Entrants' personal information shall remain with DCDH throughout the competition and beyond the competition as statutes require for the purposes of scrutiny and any audits, but solely in relation to this competition.

Voters' personal information is not captured by DCDH, as it uses a third party platform which runs a system for anonymous, one-vote only voting and surveys.  Voters can offer to make themselves known to DCDH should they wish to go into the prize pool to be randomly selected for a participation prize.

DCDH agrees not to sell or distribute any such personal information.

However, in order to demonstrate some level of transparency in relation to the authenticity of the competition, entrants that achieve a winning place and a prize will have their name and/or social handle published.  Some level of redaction in the public space may be possible, at the request of the entrant.

NON-AFFILIATION

Entrants are not required to be a customer, member or subscriber of Diecast Diehards (or its parent Celebration Production).

Entering this competition does not automatically make the entrant a member or subscriber of DCDH, they must follow the ordinary channels for such applications and subscriptions.

Employees from DCDH are not ineligible to submit an entry, but will be ineligible for any prizes.  In the event that their entry achieves sufficient votes for a prize, the place and prize will be automatically awarded to the entrant with the next highest number of votes.

Employees from Repco Woolloongabba, or any Repco store or office are eligible to submit an entry, and shall be eligible for prizes in the prize pool.

COMPETITION GENETICS

Dates and times for Entry Submissions, Public Voting, and Winners Announced published elsewhere also make up these T&Cs.

DCDH reserves the alter any aspect of this competition, such as moving the date or location for announcing the winners, but not limited to suspending or cancelling the competition especially where there is serious concerns regarding voting irregularity.

DCDH reserves the right to deem void, and disqualify from any prize winning, any entry that doesn't comply with instructions, terms and conditions.

Prizes and vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.

USE OF IMAGERY

Any entrants' uploaded images shall belong to DCDH and used for the purposes of promoting and conducting this competition.

Entrants agree to DCDH using any of its own watermarks for this this purpose.

During the voting period of the competition, entrant vehicle images should be relatively anonymous. That said, entrants are encouraged to leverage their own networks to raise awareness of the competition and their entry in it.

Do not emboss, watermark or include any identification branding (name, social handles, company name, logos, URL, etc) on your entrant images.

After the end of the competition DCDH will invite all prize winners if they would like for such identification text and images of their socials, website, company, name, etc to be associated with / superimposed on / hyperlinked with / etc such images, whereas all other entrants can request the same of DCDH.

Entrants are encouraged to, and thus have permission to, use, distribute, share and/or re-publish any competition images published by DCDH for the purposes of promoting the competition, i.e. entrants vehicles, voting platform, collage poster hero-image.

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS

Further instructions will follow after the entry time has closed, and before and/or during the voting times, in relation to where you can find your published entry and how people can vote for it.  These shall also be an appendix to the T&Cs.
