With a lower roofline and an absence of fins, Holden introduced the EJ series in 1962 with a major style change.
This new series also saw improvements in the front suspension and braking-system, and the introduction of the Premier badged variant offering various options distinguishing it from the Special and Standard base models.
A minor upgrade came along in 1963 with the EH series, along with the introduction of Holden's iconic Red Motor inline six-cylinder eventually superseding the Grey Motor inline six-cylinder.
Holden produced the EH until 1965 before adopting it's next series of styling and improvements in the HD.
